What is Cloud-Sync?

Cloud-Sync pulls down all of your incoming and outbound cloud e-mail messages and pushes them into your CRM database so that you and all your colleagues can see all e-mail correspondence with all your customers.


Additionally, Cloud-Sync keeps your calendar events, contacts, and files in sync with your CRM/ERP.

I am already synchronised with TriSys

Microsoft is withdrawing support for its SMTP login/password authentication on 30 April 2026, so TriSys needs additional permissions to send e-mail on your behalf. You therefore need to re-authenticate and grant the Cloud-Sync service access to the necessary permissions to undertake all TriSys workflow actions.

What if I am not a customer?

The Cloud-Sync service is commercially available to all Business Software Group customers. It can push e-mail into your custom database or synchronise your calendar, contacts, and files via your REST API. Contact us if you wish to sign-up.

Which cloud service providers are supported?

Cloud-Sync supports Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Exchange Online, Calendar, Contacts & OneDrive) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Contacts & Drive). Personal email accounts (Outlook.com, Gmail.com) are also supported, but with limited functionality.

What permissions does Cloud-Sync need?

Cloud-Sync requires read access to your emails to match them against CRM/ERP contacts. Optionally, you can enable calendar, contact and file sync. We use industry-standard OAuth 2.0 - your password is never shared with us.

How do I disconnect Cloud-Sync?

You can revoke Cloud-Sync's access at any time from your Microsoft or Google account settings. Alternatively, contact our support team to disable the integration from your CRM/ERP account.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication, which means we never see or store your cloud service password. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Refresh tokens are stored encrypted on our secure servers.
